Project HOME is seeking a Kitchen Coordinator at Kairos House in Philadelphia. You will lead daily kitchen operations, plan meals, supervise residents, manage inventory, and ensure sanitation and health standards while coordinating with vendors and the Program Manager.

The role supports residents in developing independent living skills, with a schedule of 6 AM to 2 PM, Monday—Friday, at a full-time level. Compensation is $21.65 per hour, with hybrid work flexibility.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years cooking for large groups or in an institutional setting.
• SERVSafe Managerial Certification required.
• Knowledge of balanced menu planning to ensure nutrition standards.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and prepare balanced meals for 21 weekly meals plus snacks.
• Meet with residents to develop menus for dietary needs.
• Ensure health and safety standards and manage inspections corrective actions.
• Order and maintain inventory within the annual budget; liaise with vendors and Program Manager.
• Supervise residents to build kitchen skills for future employment.
