Job summary

Axess Family Services, Inc. is seeking a Kitchen Coordinator for Center of Hope. The role is part-time (29 hours/week) with an hourly rate of $14.00, schedule determined by the site with flexible evening/weekend hours.

You will coordinate daily hot meals, supervise volunteers, and support food pantry programs as needed. Responsibilities include meal preparation, inventory management, and ensuring sanitation compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with knowledge of food service procedures.
• Serve Safe certification or the ability to obtain it.
• Experience supervising volunteers and coordinating tasks.
• Valid Ohio Driver’s License and ability to meet driving insurability requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work while standing for extended periods.
• Adherence to health, sanitation, and COA/state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily hot meals and supervise kitchen operations.
• Prepare and temp foods to required temperatures; record processes.
• Maintain daily meal sheets and assist with pantry programs as needed.
• Schedule and supervise volunteers; track hours and assign tasks.
• Manage inventory and submit weekly supply orders.
• Ensure facility cleanliness and sanitation per regulations.
• Greet donors and assist with donations as needed.
