Job summary

RES is seeking a Procurement Specialist/Expeditor in Denver to support EPC projects spanning solar, wind, BESS, substations, switchyards, and transmission lines. You will source, negotiate, manage suppliers, and expedite critical resources from bid to delivery to meet project schedules.

This hybrid role requires a minimum of 3 days in the office and offers a robust benefits package. Travel is required and you will collaborate across engineering, procurement, and construction teams to optimize

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in CM/Business/Engineering/Supply Chain or 3+ years related experience.
• IMS or CIPS certification preferred.
• 3+ years negotiating POs and subcontracts preferred.
• Travel 16–30% required.
• Experience expediting equipment/material/subcontractors to match schedules; renewables/ECI preferred.
• Multitask and prioritize workload across categories.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making under tight timelines.
• Attention to detail in high-volume documentation; experience issuing and managing multiple RFPs.
• Excellent time management and planning.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• MS Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Expedites POs and subcontracts to meet delivery commitments.
• Performs desk and field expediting with supplier progress calls.
• Maintains the expediting log as delivery status source.
• Builds internal and supplier relationships.
• Advises teams on sourcing/delivery risks.
• Mentors procurement staff.
• Aligns with project teams to understand equipment impact on critical path.
• Suggests process improvements.
• Coordinates delivery of services/materials/equipment.
