Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
• 5+ years in Utilities or Energy industry.
• Strong understanding of utility billing processes and CIS workflows.
• Hands-on experience with service order lifecycle management.
• Experience with CIS and utility billing applications.
• Knowledge of deregulated energy market operations and utility transaction processes.
• Experience analyzing usage, billing, customer, and account data.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate with business and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional expertise in utility billing and customer operations processes.
• Analyze and support service order activities from initiation to disconnects and reconnects.
• Work with CIS and billing applications to support daily operations and initiatives.
• Assist with requirements gathering, process analysis and solution design.
• Investigate and resolve billing, usage, meter, account and customer issues.
• Support deregulated energy market processes and transaction flows.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, technology teams and vendors to address challenges.
• Participate in SIT, UAT, defect analysis and validation activities.
• Perform root cause analysis and production support for billing issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, billing accuracy and customer experience.
• Ensure processes align with industry and regulatory requirements.
