Job summary

IMEG Corp is seeking a Technology Designer to support the analysis, design, and implementation oversight of low-voltage technology systems in buildings. You will work with engineers and consultants to deliver engineering solutions and coordinate project execution from planning through client communication.

You will assist with documentation, budgeting, and quality control while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to meet project goals and maintain IMEG quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or certificate in BIM or Engineering preferred.
• 3 years minimum experience in building design consulting or construction.
• Knowledge of electrical voltage, IT networking basics, and low-voltage systems design for buildings.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and analysis of IT structured cabling, audio/video, security, and other low-voltage building systems.
• Use engineering software to create detailed designs, specifications, and calculations per codes and IMEG standards.
• Communicate with clients to understand needs and document design decisions.
• Support project planning, scheduling, and budgeting tasks.
• Contribute to quality control to meet IMEG standards and client requirements.
