Job summary

IMEG in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Technology Project Designer to support moderate to complex low-voltage ICT projects with a security focus. You will analyze, design, and oversee implementation of IT systems in building environments, collaborating with education and institutional clients.

Role offers path for leading design or managing project delivery, mentoring staff, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, with up to 50% travel and an in-office or hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical, Electronics, IT or related STEM field required.
• 7–11 years of experience in building design consulting or related field.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and analysis of IT structured cabling, AV, security, and other low-voltage systems.
• Create detailed designs, specifications, and calculations per code and IMEG standards.
• Coordinate project schedules, billing, and client communications.
• Mentor staff and assist with field issue resolutions.
• Ensure designs meet IMEG quality standards.
