Job summary

Ascend Learning, LLC is seeking a Release Train Engineer to facilitate SAFe ART processes across teams in a hybrid Leawood, KS environment. You will drive program execution, manage impediments, and coach on Agile techniques to deliver value consistently.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in Agile IT, SAFe experience, and strong collaboration skills. Hybrid/remote US work options apply, with a strong focus on healthcare education outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in an Agile IT or Enterprise environment.
• 3+ years managing IT programs.
• Direct experience as an RTE.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical partners.
• Experience implementing SAFe or a similar scaling framework.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate customer-focused delivery of products across technical teams.
• Lead and facilitate teams on the ART through development and delivery.
• Plan and facilitate all aspects of Planning Increment activities.
• Facilitate the Sync meetings at the Program level and coach teams.
• Provide guidance in Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe delivery.
• Support ART launches and Agile transformations.
• Serve as an expert on Agile software principles.
• Engage with stakeholders to prioritize work and define value.
• Develop metrics for continuous improvement and track progress.
• Coordinate cross-ART planning and manage dependencies.
