• Maintains HIPAA confidentiality and professional communication with all customers.

Responsibilities

• Schedule inpatient and outpatient appointments/procedures accurately.
• Complete pre-registration with correct patient details and insurance.
• Verify insurance using specified tools and contact insurers for co-pays/referrals.
• Coordinate with referring offices for scheduling and pretesting.
• Arrange interpreters for hearing impaired patients.
• Float to assist other registration staff as needed.
• Communicate schedule changes to supervisors/managers.
