Pathward, N.A. is seeking a Data Governance professional in a hybrid role with onsite locations and remote options.

The focus is establishing policies, standards, and processes to ensure data quality, security, and proper management across the enterprise. You will define metadata, monitor data quality, enforce governance policies, maintain stewardship workflows, and collaborate with business and technical teams to align data requirements with growth objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience (Master's preferred).
• Typically requires 8+ years of related experience.
• Experience establishing governance frameworks and data ownership.

Responsibilities

• Define, maintain, and enhance business metadata including data definitions, classifications, and lineage.
• Monitor data quality metrics, identify issues, and participate in remediation.
• Enforce data governance policies and approved usage guidelines.
• Support stewardship workflows, including approvals and reviews.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to align data requirements.
• Lead cross-functional governance forums to resolve data issues.
• Contribute to governance reporting and metrics including quality trends.
• Support audit, compliance, and regulatory obligations.
• Recommend improvements to data processes and stewardship practices.
• Champion data governance and data literacy across the organization.
• Other duties as assigned.
