System One in Plano, TX is seeking a Data Analyst for a contract-to-hire engagement with hybrid onsite/remote work. The role focuses on metadata and data governance within a fraud data transformation project.

You will collaborate with data governance, metadata, and data quality teams while applying hands-on problem-solving skills using SQL, Snowflake, and AWS to transform and manage data assets. Qualified candidates have 5+ years in metadata and data governance, and experience with Metadata Hub

Qualifications

At least 5 years of metadata and data governance management experience.
Understanding of Data Quality Lifecycle and Metadata Lifecycle stages.
Experience with Metadata Hub, Informatica, or similar Metadata Management Platforms.
Proficiency with SQL, Snowflake, and AWS.

Responsibilities

Support the fraud data transformation project by working with the data team and IT to capture all relevant fields and metadata for the data catalog.
Collaborate with data governance, metadata, and data quality teams to ensure accurate and comprehensive data management.
Investigate and identify issues within metadata and data quality processes, applying hands-on problem‑solving skills.
Leverage experience with Metadata Hub, Informatica, or other Metadata Management Platforms to manage metadata effectively.
Utilize SQL, Snowflake, and AWS to support data management and transformation tasks.
