Job summary

SHI is seeking a Solutions Architect, Data Governance to lead enterprise data governance initiatives for client engagements. You will partner with executives, data leaders, and delivery teams to design and implement governance programs that drive trust, visibility, and accountability across data estates.

You will steer structured governance efforts including metadata, taxonomy design, data lineage, governance monitoring, and Microsoft Purview deployment across Fabric, Azure Data Services, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in information systems, data management, computer science, or related field.
• Seven+ years delivering enterprise data governance or information management solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview including metadata management, data lineage, and business glossary.
• Demonstrated governance model design, stewardship programs, and ownership structures.

Responsibilities

• Lead governance strategy and architecture for enterprise data governance initiatives.
• Architect and oversee Purview implementation: Unified Catalog, Data Map, Data Estate Insights, and metadata management.
• Design governance frameworks including stewardship models, business glossaries, and taxonomy standards.
• Lead customer workshops, architecture reviews, and governance design sessions.
• Monitor governance operations using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics; drive adoption and continuous improvement.
