Job summary

Highstreet Insurance is seeking an Enrollment Specialist / Technical Assistant to join our Employee Benefits client management team. You will handle enrollment processing, data maintenance, carrier communications, and service tasks with accuracy and a service mindset.

Candidates should have at least 1 year benefits experience, understand medical/dental/vision plans, and stay organized. Hybrid in-office or fully remote options are available based on location; the role offers a full benefits

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of employee benefits experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of medical, dental, vision, life and disability plans.
• Strong organization and detail-oriented mindset.
• Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with benefits software is a big plus.

Responsibilities

• Process enrollments, changes, and terminations with insurance carriers.
• Troubleshoot benefit administration system and carrier integration issues.
• Process COBRA notices and qualifying events with third-party vendors.
• Submit, track, and provide status updates on disability claims.
• Maintain accurate client and employee information in the system.
• Update enrollment materials and SPDs.
• Provide backup to the Client Management team as needed.
• Assist with carrier service requests and administrative issues.
