Job summary

Murata Electronics is seeking a Sales Manager to drive strategic direction and implement business plans for the Irvine-based territory. You will consolidate market trends, coordinate with sales reps, and ensure effective coverage across regions while steering negotiations and customer relationships.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering or business, 6+ years of related experience, and strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business administration.
• Minimum 6+ years of directly related work experience.
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
• Knowledge of the electronic component industry and sales contracts.
• Proficiency with Salesforce and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Own local Murata customers within the territory and manage relationships.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, NDAs, and terms with customers.
• Provide feedback to BD, Product Marketing, and OSAs from customers.
• Develop forecasts for POS and OEMs and report changes monthly.
• Lead and manage sales teams and coordinate with GAM/KAM/SE activities.
