St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital’s ALSAC is seeking an Area Manager to oversee high‑impact fundraising campaigns across events, donor portfolios, and experiential programs in assigned markets. You will drive revenue growth, manage a team of 2–3 fundraising professionals, and ensure programs align with area business plans.

This role requires travel ~40%, evenings and weekends for events, and a hybrid schedule at our Territory Office in Baton Rouge, LA.

Qualifications

• 3 years in fundraising, nonprofit development, or event management.
• Proven success in leading fundraising campaigns and donor portfolios.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with committee development, corporate sponsorships, and high-wealth donor engagement.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and lead a team effectively.
• Proficiency in CRM systems and data-driven fundraising strategies.
• Travel approximately 40% to support donor engagement and events.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends for events and meetings.
• Driver’s License required.

Responsabilités

• Drive fundraising strategy and revenue growth across multiple channels.
• Lead and mentor a team of 2–3 fundraising professionals.
• Plan and execute major events including dinners, galas, golf tournaments and fitness fundraisers.
• Cultivate relationships with individual donors, corporate sponsors, and high‑net‑worth individuals.
• Recruit and manage executive-level volunteer committees with board engagement.
• Manage own book of business with campaigns such as Dream Home, radiothons, and school events.
