Job summary

ALSAC is seeking a Development Specialist to advance peer-to-peer fundraising, event sponsorship solicitations, and radio telethon support for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. This remote role supports candidates in the Oklahoma City and Tulsa areas with travel as needed.

You will cultivate donors, lead national initiatives, and drive marketing and recruitment for events while delivering reports to guide planning and budgeting.

Qualifications

• 3 years of fundraising, sales, marketing, or related experience.
• Working knowledge of social media and digital channels.
• Analytical skills to review data and track performance.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and public speaking skills.
• Proven experience in face-to-face interaction with volunteers and sponsors.
• A valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Exceed financial and stewardship targets established by regional leadership.
• Cultivate relationships with volunteers, donors, and sponsors through personal engagement.
• Lead national fundraising initiatives such as Dream Home campaigns, radiothons, and school events.
• Develop cultivation plans and manage event logistics and records.
• Prepare reports, progress updates, and forecasts for decision-making.
• Travel periodically to support events and activities.
