Job summary

Oregon State University is seeking a Recruitment Specialist to join University Human Resources. The role is a full-time, 12-month Professional Faculty position with a starting salary commensurate with skills, education, and experience.

The specialist will advise hiring managers, search committees, and business partners to attract and hire top talent while ensuring a positive recruitment experience. A hybrid work arrangement may be available after training; fully remote work is not offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Personnel Management, Industrial Relations, Business Administration or related field.
• Two years of professional level HR experience or HR certification plus three years HR experience.
• Four years’ admin/support experience with strong organizational and data-entry skills.
• Proficiency with database/reporting tools, Windows, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

• Serve as trusted advisor to hiring managers, search committees, and business partners.
• Attract and hire exceptional talent and ensure a positive recruitment experience.
• Provide consultative partnership with strong administrative and process management.
• Work with a hybrid arrangement; ensure deadlines and compliance in recruitment processes.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field

Two years of professional HR experience

HR certification (HRCI or SHRM)

Four years admin/program support experience

Proficiency with data entry and MS Office
