Job summary

Colorado State University is seeking a Faculty Talent Acquisition Operations Specialist to provide specialized talent acquisition expertise and operational support for faculty searches and hires. The role collaborates with the Office of the Provost, HR partners, and academic leadership to ensure compliant, efficient processes and a positive candidate experience.

Onsite with hybrid potential, the specialist will oversee faculty-specific TA operations, interpret policies, and guide stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4 years combined education and relevant experience in higher education environment.
• Three years of professional experience supporting faculty affairs, academic personnel administration, higher education HR, talent acquisition operations, or similar complex admin functions.
• Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, and guidelines consistently.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization, from operational partners to executive leadership.
• Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently administer faculty talent acquisition processes and ensure accuracy of offers and documentation.
• Advise hiring managers and search committees on faculty recruitment processes and complex search situations.
• Interpret regulations and policies and recommend appropriate approaches when standard processes don’t fully address circumstances.
• Serve as a resource on faculty recruitment operations and guide stakeholders through recruitment systems and approvals.
• Analyze faculty recruitment processes to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Contribute subject-matter expertise to TA projects, system enhancements, and training.
