Job summary

DH Pace Company, Inc. is recruiting an entry-level Recruiting Specialist to join our team at our corporate headquarters in Olathe, KS. This position offers a hybrid work schedule after the introductory period.

You will support the Recruiting team with scheduling, candidate communications, onboarding, background checks, I-9 verification, and coordination of career fairs. This role provides growth opportunities within Human Resources in a national, family-owned company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR/Recruiting or related field preferred.
• Some experience or education in HR/Recruiting is preferred.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support recruiters with daily recruiting operations and scheduling.
• Initiate background checks, drug screens, and DOT paperwork as needed.
• Coordinate onboarding and Employee Action Forms for new hires.
• Collect I-9 documentation in compliance with federal requirements.
• Create and manage ID badge access for new employees.
• Serve as a primary contact for candidates and hiring managers.
• Manage recruiting hotline and respond to inquiries promptly.
• Attend career fairs and recruiting events; travel as needed.
• Additional duties as assigned.
