Job summary

Pita Way is seeking a motivated, organized In-House Recruiter / Recruiting Assistant to join our growing team in Michigan. This full-time role supports our expanding network of locations and reports to the Director of Recruiting.

You will post openings, screen candidates, conduct phone interviews, and coordinate interviews with store leadership across approximately 50 locations. A hybrid or remote arrangement may be available after onboarding, with a 40-hour week and a 9:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruiting, HR, sales, customer service, or management is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Comfortable conducting phone interviews and speaking with candidates throughout the day.
• Excellent organizational and follow-up skills are required.
• Ability to manage multiple job openings and candidates simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Recruit candidates for Pita Way locations across our growing organization.
• Post and maintain job openings across recruiting platforms.
• Review applications and resumes.
• Conduct initial phone screenings and candidate interviews.
• Identify qualified candidates and move them efficiently through the hiring process.
• Schedule interviews with hiring managers and store leadership.
• Follow up with candidates throughout the recruiting process.
• Maintain organized candidate records and recruiting pipelines.
• Communicate regularly with the Director of Recruiting regarding staffing needs and priorities.
• Assist with recruiting for new store openings and staffing levels across ~50 locations.
