Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking a Finance Analyst to research, analyze, reconcile, and summarize financial data for management decisions. You will coordinate with financial planning, reporting, and operations to drive improvements and standardize reporting across the end-to-end process.

The role is hybrid with 3 in-person days at core locations (Carlisle, PA; Salisbury, NC; Quincy, MA) and 2 remote days. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of GAAP; IFRS preferred.
• Excel skills required.
• Lean Six Sigma knowledge preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Advanced reporting tools experience.
• Strong presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end close activities including preparation of financial statements and period end journal entries.
• Review ledger activity for accuracy and interpret trends to advise on corrective actions.
• Prepare periodic forecasts, variance and trend analyses for management.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS and internal reporting standards; drive process improvements with Lean Six Sigma methods.
• Lead internal/external audit data requests and documentation.
• Protect company assets and ensure compliance with policies and laws.
