Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking a finance professional to research, analyze, reconcile and summarize financial data for management decision-making. You will consolidate data from multiple sources to produce GAAP-compliant reports and support standardized financial reporting across the end-to-end process.

The role includes coordinating with FP&A, financial reporting and finance operations, and applying Lean Six Sigma methodologies to improve processes.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of GAAP; IFRS preferred.
• Proficient in Excel and reporting tools.
• Lean Six Sigma knowledge is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end close activities and prepare financial statements and period-end journals.
• Review ledger activities for accuracy and advise on variances and corrective actions.
• Prepare forecasts, variance and trend analyses for management.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal reporting requirements.
• Support internal and external audits and drive process improvements.
