Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking a finance professional to drive financial performance through research, analytics, and recommendations on complex business modeling and reporting. The role emphasizes cash management, accounting analysis, controls, audit, and governance of payment processes.

The position supports a hybrid work schedule with 3 in-person days at core locations in Carlisle, PA and Salisbury, NC, and 2 remote days.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of mostly relevant experience.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate to all levels of management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Suite.

Responsibilities

• Research, analyze, reconcile, audit and summarize financial data for management decisions.
• Report cash and payment exceptions and calculate accruals based on data.
• Lead period close activities including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Identify and assess financial variances and advise senior management.
• Prepare period, quarterly, and annual reports and assist audits.
• Serve as technical resource during internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with product, Retail Services, IT and vendors to solve issues.
• Respond to P&L and balance sheet questions and ensure accurate reporting.
