Job summary

HANWHA QCELLS USA CORP (QCELLS USA) is seeking a Manager of Technical Pre-Sales Support – PV Module in Houston, TX. The role acts as the technical interface between the commercial team and utility-scale customers, translating requirements into viable PV module solutions.

The position requires PV module design depth, strong communication, and collaboration with Sales, Engineering, Estimating, Procurement, and Project Execution, with hybrid work in Houston and up to 30% travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in renewable energy with 3+ years in PV module tech, design support or technical sales.
• Solid understanding of PV module technology, encap, certifications and large-scale integration concepts.
• Experience with MSA reviews, warranty and qualification processes.
• Familiarity with PV standards (NEC, IEEE, UL) and PV system design tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical SME for utility-scale PV module opportunities.
• Develop technical proposals, layouts, and single-line diagrams.
• Assist with responses to RFPs/RFIs and due diligence requests.
• Create PV system performance models and energy yield analyses.
• Collaborate with product/engineering to align solutions with requirements.
• Communicate PV module capabilities and roadmap to customers.
