Job summary

Collins Aerospace seeks a Principal Project Engineer, Proposals in Aguadilla, PR to lead Power and Controls pursuits with the Business Development team. You'll drive proposals, manage schedules, cost and risk, and coordinate with Engineering, PM, and Supply Chain to ensure compliant submissions.

You will act as ECS SME, support standardization efforts, and work with other engineers to ensure performance and on-time delivery for ECS pursuits.

Qualifications

• Typically requires STEM degree with extensive relevant experience.
• Strong English communication skills (verbal and written).
• U.S. citizenship is required for access to program information.

Responsibilities

• Act as Proposal Lead, coordinating with Engineering, Business Development and PM.
• Lead IPMT meetings and manage the proposals queue and deliverables.
• Monitor scope, changes, cost and risk; provide status to stakeholders.
• Coordinate proposal documents, budgets, and contract terms.
• Ensure proposals align with customer requirements and gates.
• Track pursuits in Salesforce and maintain schedules.
• Collaborate with ECS SMEs for performance and delivery.
• Prepare and review pursuit decks per schedule.
