Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Aguadilla, PR is seeking a Principal Project Engineer, Proposals to lead Power and Controls pursuits. You will drive proposal priorities, manage the queue, and coordinate with Engineering, Business Development and PM to ensure timely, compliant submissions.

The role requires collaboration with ECS leads for sustainment and NPI initiatives. The position is hybrid with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote; relocation isn’t offered and PR residency is required at start.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree with extensive relevant experience or an advanced degree with 5+ years.
• Must demonstrate strong English communication (verbal and written).
• U.S. citizenship is required for access to program information.

Responsibilities

• Act as Proposal Lead to manage the process with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Coordinate formalization of critical customer and change board documentation.
• Oversee administrative and operational aspects of ongoing projects in guidelines.
• Meet program schedules and budgets; maintain integrated master schedules.
• Coordinate preparation of proposals, business plans, and contract terms.
• Monitor issues and develop resolutions to meet quality and satisfaction goals.
