Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join the Global Engineering & Technology Center (GETC) in Puerto Rico, supporting the Power & Controls organization. The role coordinates project execution activities across hardware, software, production, and test engineering teams to drive progress on complex programs.

You will help maintain schedules, monitor risks, and support communications within the PMT and engineering disciplines.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) is typically required with substantial experience.
• Strong verbal and written English communication is needed.
• U.S. citizenship is required to access information for this program/contract.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating cross-functional tasks and ensuring alignment with program requirements.
• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules with milestones and dependencies.
• Support reviews by compiling status inputs, tracking actions, and monitoring risks and issues.
• Identify risks, barriers, and opportunities and contribute to mitigation planning.
• Support baseline management and change control across CIPTs and engineering disciplines.
• Analyze performance indicators like cost and schedule data to aid decision-making.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in scheduling, reporting, and project coordination.
