Job summary

Moog Inc. Space and Defense seeks a Proposal Subcontracts Lead to coordinate compliant subcontracts data, support audit readiness, and ensure alignment with FAR regulations in a hybrid role in Buffalo, NY, with consideration for SLC, UT, Gilbert, AZ, and Arvada, CO locations.

You will work with Cost Engineering and Supply Chain to support high-dollar proposals and maintain records for proposal, audit, and negotiation support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of five years of relevant experience in supply chain, cost engineering, material estimating, or related field.
• Advanced knowledge of FAR/DFARS, TINA and CAS.
• Proficient knowledge of FAR/DFARS proposal compliance and the ability to respond to Audit requests.
• Pricing, Proposals, and/or Contracts related experience.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Ability to travel to customers and Moog sites when needed.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key coordinator and record holder of the material supporting data and analyses for proposal team(s).
• Ensure Moog Estimating System compliance and provide interpretation of FAR requirements.
• Ensure adherence to FAR, TINA, and Moog policies and procedures regarding cost proposal preparation, review, compliance, submission, updates/revisions, and negotiations.
• Provide training and coordination to Supply Chain teams for compliant completion of material supporting data and analyses.
• Analyze Bills of Material for documentation requirements to ensure compliant responses to proposal requests.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain and Cost Engineering to support material pricing strategies.
• Interface with Suppliers to align Cost Engineering and Supply Chain processes.
• Support competition and commerciality efforts, documentation, and analyses with Supply Chain teams.
• Interface with other Cost Engineering and Supply Chain personnel daily.
• Provide compliance reviews of completed proposal material supporting data including price and cost analyses.
