Opportunity Consulting in Washington, DC is seeking a Project and Operations Coordinator at an entry level to learn how operations and client engagements run. You’ll support project teams by coordinating logistics, maintaining schedules, and ensuring work moves smoothly from start to finish.

You’ll work with senior staff, gain exposure to clients early, and develop a versatile skill set using tools for data collection, project management, and communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 2–4 years of professional work experience.
• Strong written communication skills for client-facing work.
• Proficient with digital productivity and collaboration tools.
• Ability to manage logistics across multiple tasks.
• Interest in public sector and mission-driven work.
• Experience with social media or basic website content management (LinkedIn, Wix is a plus).

Responsibilities

• Provide project and meeting support with clear notes.
• Set up project infrastructure and trackers.
• Assist with day-to-day project management tasks.
• Support project closeout and data transfer.
• Coordinate logistics for meetings, workshops, events.
• Maintain master directories and renewal calendars.
• Draft social media content highlighting work.
