Job summary

The Allan Sullivan Company is seeking an Operations Specialist to support daily client and retail operations. This entry‑level role builds foundational experience in item and vendor maintenance, PO tracking, replenishment support, deduction management, reporting, and process documentation.

You will collaborate with operations, sales, and ecommerce to ensure data accuracy, meet deadlines, resolve exceptions, and provide timely updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business preferred but not required.
• Relevant experience in retail supporting suppliers is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams.
• Able to work onsite with remote flexibility and up to 35% travel.
• Comfortable with data, analytics, and basic AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain item, SKU, vendor, and customer data across retailer, distributor, client, and internal systems; handle new item and vendor setups and validations.
• Support purchase order and order management by tracking open orders, confirmations, shipments, and delays; communicate exceptions.
• Assist with replenishment and inventory reporting by reviewing forecasts and on‑hand inventory.
• Research and manage deductions by validating claims and maintaining status trackers.
• Build, distribute, and maintain operational reports, dashboards, and performance summaries.
• Monitor operational compliance and data accuracy through routine audits and reconciliations.
• Coordinate issue resolution with internal teams, clients, retailers, and warehouses; ensure documentation and follow‑through.
