Job summary

Farm Credit East is seeking a Project Manager to independently deliver projects driving measurable value for customers and business objectives. You will own the full lifecycle from planning to benefits realization with a customer-first mindset and cross-functional collaboration.

The role emphasizes leading projects, managing scope, schedule, budget, and risk while driving benefits realization and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Agriculture, Agribusiness, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of professional experience leading projects or major workstreams.
• Experience managing project lifecycle phases: planning, execution, monitoring, and closing.
• Experience coordinating teams, managing budgets, and delivering measurable business outcomes.
• Preferred certifications: PMP, CSM.

Responsibilities

• Build and own the execution plan with integrated schedules, budgets, dependencies, and change management.
• Publish indicators and benefits progress, including post-implementation reviews.
• Drive corrective actions for value gaps by analyzing performance against OKRs and benefits targets.
• Lead project planning and delivery with schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure accountability for deliverables.
• Identify dependencies, oversee changes, and elevate risks impacting outcomes.
• Maintain project documentation and standards across the system of record.
• Collaborate with Legal, InfoSec, and Risk to safeguard data and compliance.
• Monitor risks with regular reviews and proactive mitigation.
