Job summary

You will lead cross‑functional teams, define scope, schedules, budgets, and risks, and provide regular, data‑driven updates to senior leadership. This hybrid role combines office collaboration with remote work on select days, and requires periodic travel to Springfield for meetings and team

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required.
• 8-10 years of progressively responsible experience leading large, complex technology projects, preferably within enterprise software or financial services.
• PMP Certification strongly preferred; Agile experience preferred.
• Advanced training or certification in change management or business analysis preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for the project management process and project management deliverables, for all assigned projects from initiation through closure.
• Manages larger, more complex work-plan initiatives involving multiple functional areas and diverse, distributed teams; oversees appropriate vendor management for assigned projects.
• Assist in defining project scope, budget, timelines, and milestones that support the business goal while working collaboratively with business partners.
• Proactively lead discussions to identify business requirements contributing to project scope definition and success criteria.
• Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resources plans, and status reports.
• Plan, track and manage project schedules, tasks, and actions adhering to FPI project management methodology.
• Promote and drive the development and adoption of FPI project management methodologies, standards, and tools.
• Build credibility as a strategic advisor to business partners and customer associations.
• Lead kickoff meetings and other launch activities; provide regular project status updates.
• Manage cross-functional project teams and vendor resources; align stakeholder groups in a matrixed environment.
• Lead communication with senior leadership and executive sponsors; manage risks and dependencies.
• Identify and mitigate risks; escalate as needed.
• Control change to project scope using approved processes.
• Document, track, measure and report progress toward goals and quality.
• Clearly communicate expectations to team members and stakeholders.
• Manage escalations and resolve conflicts.
• Develop understanding of technical and business aspects; provide guidance.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards; review deliverables.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
• Drive alignment between project objectives and enterprise strategy.
• Monitor budgets; prepare monthly reforecasts and explain variances.
