Job summary

Forbes Bros. Group of Companies is seeking a Project Manager to own defined scopes on active utility construction projects.

You will coordinate daily execution from work planning through closeout, lead subcontractors and crews, track progress and costs, and ensure work is safe, to spec, and on schedule. This early-career leadership role suits someone with strong coordination experience ready for greater project responsibility.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of field-based project management experience in utility, infrastructure, or construction environments.
• Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Familiarity with construction drawings, scopes of work, and contract deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Develop work plans, schedules, and field sequences; lead startup, daily huddles, and field planning.
• Coordinate subcontractors, equipment mobilization, and materials with Procurement/Safety/Engineering.
• Monitor progress, costs, quantities, and productivity; elevate risks and field issues.
• Ensure checklists, redline drawings, and inspection records meet client specs and standards.
• Document scope changes and prepare information for change orders and project reports.
