Job summary

Tom Trese Networking LLC is seeking a Project Manager / Sales Engineer to deliver mechanical and plumbing projects while driving new business. This hybrid role blends technical project management with client development across industrial, commercial, and institutional markets.

You will lead project delivery from proposal through execution, manage budgets and schedules, mentor staff, and build long-term client relationships.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of industry‑related experience or a bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Proven track record in mechanical services project delivery and/or sales (HVAC, piping, plumbing)
• Experience with HVAC, process piping, and plumbing systems
• Strong understanding of project contractors, suppliers, and manufacturers

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee mechanical and plumbing projects with varying complexity
• Analyze proposals and specifications to determine cost‑effective solutions
• Lead project teams to ensure technical accuracy and quality of deliverables
• Maintain schedules and cost summaries, track budget and manpower
• Develop and deliver accurate proposals for mechanical scopes
• Build and manage a sales pipeline and drive revenue growth
• Represent the company at industry events and client meetings
• Collaborate with estimating, operations, and finance for smooth handoffs
