The position requires a BSME, PE, or licensed HVAC designer, 3+ years of practical HVAC design, US work authorization, and ability to visit sites within roughly an hour of Fox Valley.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or equivalent.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) or state-licensed HVAC designer.
• 3+ years of hands-on commercial/industrial HVAC design experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer inquiries and site requirements to determine project scope and feasibility.
• Design high-performance HVAC systems for commercial/industrial facilities, including plants and offices.
• Perform load calculations, air distribution sizing, boiler/chiller plant design, piping layouts, and steam routing.
• Develop schematic designs and CAD/Revit models for bids to establish labor and material costs.
• Draft technical proposals and present concepts to owners, GCs, and plant managers.
• Coordinate drawings and plan reviews to ensure compliance with mechanical/energy codes.
