Job summary

Thomas Young Group in Chicago is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead plumbing and HVAC projects from planning through delivery. You will coordinate with clients, engineers, and field teams to align scope, budgets, and schedules.

The role requires 3–5 years of PM experience in commercial or similar sectors, knowledge of Revit/AutoCAD/Bluebeam, and strong communication. PMP is a plus, with hybrid work options and a competitive benefits package available.

Qualifications

• Background in plumbing and HVAC within commercial or similar building sectors.
• Degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred.
• Experience using Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or similar tools.
• Around 3-5 years or more of project management experience.
• PMP is a plus but not required.
• Able to balance technical work with clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage plumbing and HVAC projects from early planning through final delivery.
• Work closely with clients and internal teams to align on scope, budgets, and schedules.
• Build work plans, project schedules, and fee proposals.
• Support contract development and help set clear goals for each project.
• Review construction documents and coordinate with consultants.
• Help resolve technical and design questions as projects move forward.
• Provide guidance and support to team members and junior staff.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and consultants.
• Identify opportunities to grow and strengthen client partnerships.
