Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center seeks a Performance Improvement Project Manager to lead a portfolio of quality initiatives, design data collection tools, query data, and analyze trends. This hybrid role is based at BIDMC East Campus with three days on-site and two remote days.

The role requires a bachelor's (business or healthcare management), 3–5 years of healthcare experience, and advanced MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in business, healthcare management or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 3-5 years related work experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsabilités

• Develops project scope, goals and objectives, success criteria, assumptions, and team membership through rigorous analytical processes in collaboration with project sponsor(s).
• Advocates interdisciplinary participation in all improvement efforts and defines scope of services.
• Ensures effective project planning and designs communication strategies for project progress.
• Provides project guidance to operational project leaders and sponsors.
• Analyzes projects to assess organizational potential and strategic alignment.
• Participates in organizational Committees and Councils as assigned.
• Collaborates to develop redesign and performance improvement models; identifies strengths and learning opportunities.
• Develops approaches to quantify and report on key performance measures in all improvement work.
• Provides training in project management and performance improvement; mentors team leaders.
• Partners with sponsors and team leaders to strategize project plans.
• Ensures equal participation by team members and feedback across the team.
• Facilitates alignment of goals across the organization and gathers customer input.
• Identifies data sources and documents process flows to support team efforts.
