Job summary

The Immigrant Legal Resource Center (ILRC) is hiring a Senior IT Manager to lead IT operations from our Washington, DC or San Francisco offices. This exempt role reports to the Director of Technology and manages IT help desk, cybersecurity, and system administration.

The position requires 7–10+ years in technical roles with 5+ years supervising staff, experience in nonprofits, and strong communication skills. Hybrid work includes two in-office days weekly with travel 10–15% as needed.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years in technical roles with leadership experience.
• 5+ years supervising teams in nonprofit or similar settings.
• Proficient with Mac and PC environments.
• Strong time management and deadline discipline.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Ability to work across departments and adapt quickly.

Responsibilities

• Oversee IT help desk and facilities support across offices; ensure timely responses.
• Be secondary owner/admin for key tech tools and systems.
• Manage M365, Active Directory, Defender, SharePoint, Intune, Exchange.
• Provide on-call support for Tier 1–3 IT requests (9am–5pm EST).
• Lead onboarding/offboarding with HR; train staff to use IT resources.
• Lead security, compliance, and incident response initiatives.
