Job summary

COCC, a leading fintech provider in the Northeastern U.S., seeks a Project Manager to lead enterprise and customer service initiatives with partners, vendors, and cross‑functional teams. You will plan, execute, and close projects, develop milestones, and maintain plans while ensuring clear communication and process discipline.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Business or equivalent, strong PM experience, and a knack for solving complex problems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent work experience.
• Demonstrated experience in project management processes.
• Ability to analyze and propose solutions for diverse and complex application issues.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Strong problem solving skills and root cause analysis capabilities.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks in a demanding environment.
• Strong technical aptitude.
• Experience building and maintaining complex project plans.
• Ability to conduct meetings and communicate urgency and priorities effectively.
• Self-starter with the ability to work effectively with staff, management, clients, vendors, and team members.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships and communicate clearly.
• Experience with Smartsheet recommended.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate efforts across product development, systems and programming, client services, and other cross functional teams.
• Lead projects with varying scope and complexity, including outsourced solutions and enhanced products and services.
• Initiate, plan, schedule, control, and successfully close projects.
• Develop high level project milestones and timelines.
• Create and maintain project plans and track and maintain project action items.
• Communicate project status, decisions, and updates through meetings, agendas, minutes, email, and other channels; develop repeatable processes.
• Maintain knowledge of industry requirements, processes, and procedures.
• Support projects managed by other project managers as needed.
• Assist with release management through testing and deployment stages.
• Engage business partners in the implementation and support of strategic products.
• Develop and manage vendor relationships in accordance with COCC policies.
• Oversee statements of work, contract fulfillment, billing processes, implementation guides, and training materials as applicable.
• Monitor project milestones and task completion.
