Job summary

The Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) is seeking an experienced Project Manager to drive projects of varying complexity from initiation to closure. You will partner with cross-functional teams across Financial Risk Management, IT, Operations, Security, and Shared Services.

The role requires strong PM skills, experience with Waterfall and Agile, and the ability to manage timelines, resources, and stakeholders in a highly regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or technical discipline required.
• 5+ years of experience in project management or project leadership role.
• Advanced familiarity with Waterfall and Agile project management.
• Proven ability to manage projects across initiation, planning, execution and closure.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and stakeholder management.
• Ability to work in a regulated environment and coordinate cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Uses traditional and Agile approaches to execute projects and achieve business outcomes.
• Drives day-to-day project delivery within scope, time, and budget.
• Follows OCC project management guidelines, checklists, and templates.
• Facilitates definition of objectives and scope; plans resources and milestones.
• Leads planning activities and supports execution and closure.
• Monitors risks, issues, and dependencies; provides status updates weekly.
• Communicates clear project status to stakeholders and escalates as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
