Mondo in New York is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead end-to-end technology and application development initiatives within a financial services context. You will partner with engineering, data, business, and senior stakeholders to craft project plans, manage execution, and deliver complex initiatives.

The role emphasizes building detailed plans from scratch, governance, and a strong focus on Jira-based delivery, with 60-70% oversight of planning, tracking, and execution.

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years of technical project management or related experience.
• Experience in financial services/fintech or technology companies.
• Proven experience managing application development projects.
• Strong Jira experience and ability to build project plans from scratch.
• Solid PMO/governance experience and understanding of SDLC/Agile.

Responsibilities

• Build detailed, end-to-end project plans and manage delivery.
• Provide 60-70% oversight of planning, tracking, and execution.
• Lead technology, data, and application development projects.
• Translate objectives into requirements, roadmaps, timelines, and deliverables.
• Coordinate engineering, data, operations, finance, and third-party teams.
• Manage risks, issues, dependencies, milestones, and timelines.
• Use Jira for tracking, backlog management, sprint planning, and reporting.
• Support APIs, integrations, data architecture, and solution design.
• Support Agile delivery, SDLC governance, testing, release planning, and production readiness.
• Create project documentation including BRs, process flows, runbooks, and SOPs.
• Track success metrics, stakeholder alignment, adoption, and improvement.
• Identify process gaps and automation opportunities and drive solutions.
• Communicate status, risks, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
