Job summary

Capital One is seeking a visionary Project Manager for Core Card initiatives. You will partner with leadership to drive cross-functional collaboration, design and document project plans, and manage high-priority programs from initiation to delivery.

You will mentor junior PMs, coordinate with business clients, and apply Agile or Design Thinking approaches to balance scope, timelines, and risks in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or military experience required.
• 6+ years of Project Management experience.
• 5+ years of experience partnering with internal business clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex projects and programs with strategic direction and end-to-end execution.
• Create detailed project plans to manage timelines, scope, and risks.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
• Mentor and coach associate project managers and delivery team members.
• Manage handoffs and escalations, and track impacts on timelines.
