Job summary

Chart Industries is seeking a Project Manager AFM to drive complex engineering projects from order receipt to delivery. The role requires ownership of schedules, budgets, and customer communications across engineering, supply chain, quality, and logistics, with a focus on on-time delivery and margin protection.

Based in a hybrid US location (Buffalo NY, Medina OH, or Tulsa OK), you will lead cross-functional teams, manage risk, and implement best practices under ISO 9001:2015 guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management within an engineering, heavy industrial or construction firm.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex customer accounts.
• Experience in financial aspects of project management (margin, variance, cash flow).
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, or 10 years’ experience in project management-related roles.
• Experience in matrix organizations and using influence and indirect leadership.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of projects from order receipt through delivery, ensuring financial, schedule, quality, and customer satisfaction objectives are met.
• Own the customer relationship as the primary point of contact, driving communication strategy and safeguarding customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Function as the key point person for engineering, supply chain, quality, and logistics, facilitating communication across teams.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans, ensuring alignment with objectives and targets.
• Lead project execution by overseeing milestone tracking, reporting, and risk mitigation to ensure on-time delivery and margin protection.
