Job summary

SGS Wheat Ridge, CO laboratory is seeking a Project Manager to join the Client Services team. This hybrid role requires 3–5 onsite days per week and involves guiding client projects from quote to final deliverables and invoicing.

The Project Manager builds strong relationships with clients and technical staff, coordinating with the Rocklin, CA laboratory as needed, and mentoring Project Manager Assistants to ensure on-time, accurate results and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Associates' degree or equivalent industry experience in sciences and/or customer service.
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, or related field preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Self-motivated with good initiative and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient English language skills and mathematical/ computer skills.
• Ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the main client services contact for a dedicated list of clients with lower complexities and/or annual analytical spend.
• Aids the client with project setup, including the initial quote, supply order, sample receipt, data reporting, and invoicing.
• Fosters collaborative relationships with the client, laboratory operations, and sales team to support long term relationships.
• Acts as the client liaison to the laboratory to ensure project needs are met and deadlines are achieved.
• Keeps accounts project managed and up to date with accurate status and invoicing.
• Monitors project status and provides regular updates to stakeholders on progress and issues.
• Promotes SGS positively inside and outside the laboratory; supports task delegation to PM Assistants.
