Job summary

Siemens Mobility is seeking a Project Manager to lead medium- and high-voltage power distribution projects from initiation through closeout. Based in Wendell, NC, you will coordinate cross-functional teams and manage scope, schedule, budget, and quality in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 5+ years in power distribution project management, ability to travel up to 20%, and US work authorization without sponsorship. PMP is preferred and a Hybrid work model is available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in the power distribution industry, focusing on medium- or high-voltage equipment/switchgear.
• Ability to travel up to 20%, both domestically and internationally.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. permanently without company sponsorship.
• PMP certification (or willingness to obtain within one year of hire) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of assigned projects—from planning to execution and final closeout.
• Own project cost, schedule, quality, and technical performance.
• Define project milestones and ensure alignment with master plans and timelines.
• Communicate expectations, updates, risks, and progress clearly to team members, leadership, and customers.
• Provide routine status reports covering scope, budget, schedule, and performance.
• Identify project risks or issues and drive effective solutions (including resource allocation or contract adjustments).
• Handle customer expectations throughout the entire project lifecycle.
• Lead single- and multi-product medium-voltage solutions projects.
• Conduct diagnostics to resolve root causes and implement corrective actions.
