Ashton North LLC is seeking an Associate to Counsel-level Attorney to join the Global Projects, Energy & Infrastructure Finance practice in New York or Washington, D.C. The role offers hybrid work and exposure to landmark financings across energy, natural resources, and infrastructure.

The ideal candidate has a JD from a top-tier law school, NY or DC bar admission, and 2+ years of finance-related transactional experience, with preference for project finance and cross-border matters.

Formación

• JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in NY or DC, in good standing.
• 2+ years of substantive finance-related transactional experience.
• Experience in project finance, energy, infrastructure, and/or private equity.
• Exposure to domestic and cross-border financings.
• Prior experience at a top-tier law firm preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to manage complex transactions.

Responsabilidades

• Advise sponsors, lenders, investors, and developers on project finance and infrastructure transactions.
• Draft and negotiate credit agreements, security documents, intercreditor agreements, and financing docs.
• Support transactions across energy, power, infrastructure, and natural resources, including renewables.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on large-scale domestic and international matters.
• Manage transactional workflows from diligence through closing.
