Markent Personnel is assisting a leading AmLaw 50 firm seeking an Associate to Counsel-level attorney for its Global Projects, Energy & Infrastructure Finance practice in New York or Washington, D.C. The role offers hybrid work and exposure to landmark financings in energy and infrastructure.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in New York or Washington, DC, in good standing.
• 2+ years of substantive experience in finance-related transactional work.
• Experience in project finance, energy, natural resources, infrastructure, and/or private equity transactions is strongly preferred.
• Exposure to domestic and cross-border financings, including acquisition and development financings.

Responsibilities

• Advise sponsors, lenders, investors, and developers on project finance and infrastructure transactions.
• Draft and negotiate credit agreements, security documents, intercreditor agreements, and ancillary financing documentation.
• Support transactions across energy, power, infrastructure, and natural resources sectors, including renewables.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on large-scale domestic and international matters.
• Manage transactional workflows from diligence through closing.
