Job summary

Top Echelon LLC seeks an Associate to Counsel-level attorney for its Global Projects, Energy & Infrastructure Finance group in New York, NY or Washington, DC. The role is hybrid and offers exposure to landmark financings in energy, infrastructure, and private equity sectors.

The ideal candidate has a JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academics, active NY or DC bar admission, and 2+ years of finance transactional experience, including project finance and cross-border deals.

Qualifications

JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
Active Bar Admission in New York or Washington, DC, in good standing.
2+ years of substantive experience in finance-related transactional work.
Experience in project finance, energy, natural resources, infrastructure, and/or private equity transactions preferred.
Exposure to domestic and cross-border financings; prior experience at a top-tier US or international law firm preferred.

Responsibilities

Advise sponsors, lenders, investors, and developers on project finance and infrastructure transactions.
Draft and negotiate credit agreements, security documents, intercreditor agreements, and related financing documents.
Support transactions across energy, power, infrastructure, and natural resources sectors, including renewables.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on large-scale domestic and international matters.
Manage transactional workflows from diligence through closing.
