A leading international AmLaw 50 firm is seeking an Associate to Counsel-level attorney to join its Global Projects, Energy & Infrastructure Finance practice in New York or Washington, D.C. This hybrid role offers exposure to landmark project financings across energy, natural resources, and infrastructure sectors.

JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record and active Bar Admission in New York or DC, 2+ years of substantive finance-related transactional experience, and

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in New York or Washington, DC, in good standing.
• 2+ years of substantive experience in finance-related transactional work.
• Experience in project finance, energy, natural resources, infrastructure, and/or private equity transactions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advise sponsors, lenders, investors, and developers on project finance and infrastructure transactions.
• Draft and negotiate credit agreements, security documents, intercreditor agreements, and ancillary financing documents.
• Support transactions across energy, power, infrastructure, and natural resources sectors, including renewables.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on large-scale domestic and international matters.
• Manage transactional workflows from diligence through closing.
