Unknown Law Firm in New York or Washington, D.C. seeks an Associate to Counsel-level attorney for its Global Projects, Energy & Infrastructure Finance practice.

The role offers exposure to high-profile project finance transactions and cross-border matters in energy, power, infrastructure, and natural resources. You will advise sponsors, lenders, investors, and developers; draft and negotiate credit documents; and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams from diligence through closing.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in New York or Washington, D.C., in good standing.
• 2+ years of substantive experience in finance-related transactional work.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage complex transactions in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage client relationships with ease.

Responsibilities

• Advise sponsors, lenders, investors, and developers on project finance and infrastructure transactions.
• Draft and negotiate credit agreements, security documents, intercreditor agreements, and ancillary financing documentation.
• Support transactions across energy, power, infrastructure, and natural resources sectors, including renewables.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on large-scale domestic and international matters.
• Manage transactional workflows from diligence through closing.
