Job summary

AmLaw 50 firm seeks an Associate to Counsel-level attorney for Global Projects, Energy & Infrastructure Finance in New York or Washington, D.C. Hybrid work model.

The candidate will join a market-leading group advising on complex project finance and infrastructure transactions across energy, natural resources, and private capital sectors. Requirements include a JD from a top-tier law school, NY or DC bar admission, 2+ years of finance-related transactional experience, and exposure to domestic

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in New York or Washington, D.C., in good standing.
• 2+ years of substantive experience in finance-related transactional work.
• Experience in project finance, energy, natural resources, infrastructure, and/or private equity transactions.
• Exposure to domestic and cross-border financings and acquisitions/developments.
• Prior experience at a top-tier U.S. or international law firm preferred.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage complex transactions.

Responsibilities

• Advise sponsors, lenders, investors, and developers on project finance and infrastructure transactions.
• Draft and negotiate credit agreements, security documents, intercreditor agreements, and ancillary financing documentation.
• Support transactions across the energy, power, infrastructure, and natural resources sectors.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on large-scale domestic and international matters.
• Manage transactional workflows from diligence through closing.
